How do we Establish a Healthy Relationship with our Water?
Let’s have a discussion about water. Water is the most important ingredient for life to thrive and essentially vital to our existence. Yet in our world today our water has been polluted and filled with toxins beyond belief. It personally frustrates me that I can’t have real pure spring water for all of my personal uses like taking a shower, watering a garden, and especially for drinking. Spring water is naturally purified the way nature intended.
The water that comes out of our tap is filled with chlorine, fluoride, and other chemicals and it varies depending on the water supply regulations in your part of the world. It is just so unbelievable to me that we have to travel long distances in most cases to get real natural water from a spring and haul it back to our home. Even then it’s not logical to do this for anything but drinking water. Can you imagine how much water you would need to haul back for showering and watering a garden?
But this is so very important. I don’t want to be consuming poisonous chemicals in my garden grown food because of the water I’m giving my plants. Or even worse, the chemicals being absorbed into my skin from taking a shower with bad tap water, let alone taking a bath in it? Yikes! How much of those toxins are affecting my health and consciousness. Does this mess with our own spiritual progression and growth? Do toxins in our body have an “as below so above” correlation and relationship to our spirit and soul?
This is not okay. We live in a world where these things should be corrected. We know it’s wrong and we know how to fix it. We have enough technology out there to make our relationship with water a healthy one. But how can we change it? It seems like such a daunting task, but it needs to change soon before we pollute our bodies and our environment beyond repair. Then we will really be in for it… we think we as a species have health problems now… imagine what things will be like in ten years for us, if we don’t make the necessary changes to reverse our water situation.
So here are the current options that most people choose…
You could get a water filter. However the majority of the water filters on the market barely do anything for purifying your water. Most of those pitcher water filters you see at most stores are only designed to take out suspended solids and heavy metals. They do not remove pesticides, chlorine, fluoride and other toxic chemicals. Nor do they remove all of the heavy metals and suspended solids. Unfortunately these filters are what most people use.
You could get a much more expensive water filter that alkalizes the water. However these still do not remove the toxic chemicals unless you buy the add on filters. Your looking at dropping around $5000 for a good setup. Still as tempting as that unfortunate price tag sounds, there haven’t been enough in depth scientific studies on these to know if this is a viable alternative.
Another option that a lot of people use is Reverse Osmosis water filters. You can get a decent one online for around $150-$200. Or you can pay $0.30-$0.50 per gallon to fill up at your nearest health food store. Reverse Osmosis water filters remove nearly everything in the water, more than any other filter. It even removes the healthy minerals which we need for good health. So we’ve traded our minerals in to remove the toxins? This is not good either… but it’s better. I’ll explain why. A glass of water stripped of its minerals and all the good stuff that’s in natural spring water is like a magnet for minerals and toxins. When you drink this water it removes toxins from your body but also depletes your body of the minerals it needs. Water is a carrier.
So what do we do now? You could add minerals back into your water by adding mineral rich salts or magnesium/minerals you can purchase at the store. But this still does not solve the problems of showering and bathing in toxic rich waters and feeding our plants this same nasty tap water. If you get a big reverse osmosis water filter which run around $5000-$10000 and then re-add the minerals, you could in essence fix this problem… sort of.
I also would like to mention the shower filters that you can hook up to your shower head work better than nothing but are still not good enough in my opinion.
So since most people don’t have $10,000 to drop on a Reverse Osmosis water filter for their entire house. Not to mention that a lot of people also live in apartments. This is not a permanent solution nor an affordable one for most of the population.
It’s starting to seem like there is no hope for clean pure water and that’s because there isn’t. This is unacceptable, and we all need reach that point within ourselves and decide that this is unacceptable living conditions for our species to thrive in, and so it needs to change. We need to change. If enough of us realize this, then we can shift the collective consciousness on the planet. We can do this by educating others around us, our family, our friends, and our coworkers. We need to create hope for the future one person at a time.
The world is waking up. More and more people are becoming receptive to information on healthy living habits. Especially as more and more people are getting sick from all of the toxins and pollution that affects our daily lives. So don’t be afraid to speak up, you may be surprised that those around you are looking into the same things.
I don’t know about you, but I look forward to a world with pure spring water for everyone to enjoy a healthy relationship with water. After all we are 80% water.
